What It Is
One national survey, many clients, shared cost

The Omnibus is a single national survey that several clients share. You add your own questions to the instrument and pay only for the questions you add. The cost of a representative national sample is shared, not carried alone.

The sample is a multi-stage random sample of 600 households in Trinidad, balanced across North, Central and South. Questions are directed to the household member responsible for purchase decisions. Fieldwork is face-to-face, run by a supervised team so quality is checked while the study is still live.

Data entry and analysis are handled in-house using the SNAP package. Findings come back as statistical tables, read by location, age, socio-economic class and ethnicity.

When To Use It
When the Omnibus is the right tool
Reach for the Omnibus when you need a representative national read without the cost or the lead time of a full custom study.

A few questions, not a whole study

You have three or four questions that need a national answer. A standalone survey for them is overkill. The Omnibus puts them on a representative sample for a fraction of the cost.

Tracking a handful of measures

An awareness, usage or image statement you want read the same way over time. Add the same questions to successive cycles and watch the trend.

A quick market check

A pricing question, a concept reaction or an incidence read before you commit to a bigger piece of work.

Reaching the whole population

Face-to-face in-home fieldwork reaches households that phone and online miss, so the read holds across age and income.

How We Do It
How the Omnibus works
Four steps from your questions to your tables.

Submit your questions

Send your questions by the cycle deadline. We check the wording, structure and routing, then confirm how each one will be asked.

Fielded face-to-face

Your questions go onto the shared instrument and are administered in-home across Trinidad by a supervised field team.

Processed in-house

Data entry, coding and tabulation run in-house on SNAP, with socio-economic groups set by the main wage earner and validated against the home.

Tables delivered

You receive statistical tables for your questions, cut by location, age, class and ethnicity. An Excel data file or a presentation is available on request.

Common Questions
What clients ask
How many questions can I add?

As many as you need. You pay per question, so the cost scales with what you add. Most clients add a focused block, not a full questionnaire.

Who is in the sample?

Six hundred households across Trinidad, balanced North, Central and South. Questions are directed to the household member who makes the purchase decisions.

When is the next cycle?

Cycles run up to twice a year. The next cycle takes questions until 17 July 2026, fields from 24 July to 7 August and reports on 28 August 2026.

Can I get the raw data?

Yes. Statistical tables are standard. An Excel data file or a presentation of your results is available on request at additional cost.
